Mannarino beats Seppi again to reach second consecutive finals in Moscow

The French Adrian Mannarino had a deja vu at the «VTB Kremlin Cup» this year as he reached the finals again. Just like back in 2018 in the semifinals he defeated Andreas Seppi from Italy in two sets – 6/2, 6/4. The match lasted 1 hour and 15 minutes. Mannarino aced 5 times and double faulted once. Seppi fired 2 aces and made no double faults.

«I got a little bit lucky at the end (in the last rally the ball touched the net and felk on teh crout side of his opponent) . It’s always tough to close the match. I was moving well. And having a little bit of luck is never a bad thing. In the final I hope to do better than last time. Last year I played with Karen, who was really good, just too good for me. I just hope that tomorrow is going to be a different match. I’ll give my best. Thanks for the support, thanks for today and I hope to see you tomorrow», - said Adrian after the match.

In the finals Adrian Mannarino will face the winner of the match Andrey Rublev (Russia) vs Marin Cilic (Croatia).
